Who we are

Placeholder

We’re two educators advocating for social-emotional learning to be at the forefront of schools and classrooms, parent education, and workplace cultures. We facilitate adult SEL that leads to courageous leadership, sustainable practices for educators and families, and collaboration through authentic connection in communities to better children’s well-being.

Caitlyn

With over a decade of experience as an elementary school counselor, I spent 10 years championing the integration of social emotional learning (SEL) not only for students, but for the adults who support them. I believe that sustainable SEL starts with educators, and I work to empower teachers and staff with the tools and emotional capacity to model and teach these essential life skills. As a parent of two young children (ages 4 and 7), SEL isn’t just part of my profession - it’s woven into my everyday parenting and relationships. My work centers on creating emotionally healthy environments where both students and adults can thrive.

Annie

As a former elementary school teacher turned social-emotional learning (SEL) consultant, my passion lies in nurturing adult well-being and supporting systemic SEL in schools and in the home. I completed the Teacher Leadership program through SCOE and received my Master’s in Educational Psychology from Mizzou - both of which were the catalyst for me to leave the classroom and work to empower parents and educators to cultivate SEL in their life to more authentically grow these skills in their children or students’ lives. I’m also a mom to two amazing girls, Hazel (4) and Quinn (2); they drive my work, and have shown me how vital it is to bring SEL into our home, school, and community ecosystems. I can’t wait to walk this journey with you!
